Mr. Haim Ramon, Chairman of the Board

Mr. Ramon joined LifeWave as Chairman of LifeWave- Board of Directors in September 2009. Prior to his appointment in LifeWave, Mr. Ramon has had a long and prolific political career. Among many positions in previous governments, he served as Israel’s Deputy Prime Minister in the government from 2007-2009 and is a former Minister of Health, Minister of Justice and Minister of Interior. He was also a Member of the Knesset from 1983 until 2009. Presently, he is involved in many business activities. He serves as the Chairman of Charleton (Sports Media), as an advisor to the Head of Keter Group, one of the largest plastic manufacturers and marketers in the world, and as a Director at: "Mif'alim Petrochimiyeem", Israel Petrochemicals, Bitu'ach Yashir (insurance) and Merhav (Designer Building Products Ltd).

Mr. Ramon is a graduate of The Tel Aviv University with a degree in Law.

Dr. Michel Afargan, CEO, Director

Dr. Afargan joined LifeWave as Chief Executive Officer and prior to Mr. Ramon's appointment, as Chairman of LifeWave - Board of Directors in November 2007 (prior to Mr. Ramon appointment). Dr. Afargan is a Senior Executive Director with over 15 years of management leadership experience. Prior to his appointment in LifeWave, Dr. Afargan served as Corporate VP Strategic Developments in several BioMedical companies in Israel. Dr. Afargan was the CEO and Founder of HPBM Ltd., an Israeli BioMedical company that provides an R&D network for early and advanced stages of BioMedical projects. He was also the Founder and Executive Manager of the Israeli consortium Pharmalogica, a Research & Development (industrial & academic) network for the application of early prediction of potential medical products. From 1994 to 2000 Dr. Afargan was the Head of Pharmacology R&D, Peptor Israel, and from 2004 to 2007 he served as VP Strategic Development of IntecPharma Israel (TASE), a drug delivery company. As an expert in turn-arounds, he led, during recent years, several Israeli BioMedical startup companies.

Dr. Afargan has four academic degrees: B.Sc. and M.Sc. (studies) in Life Sciences from Ben-Gurion University, Beer-Sheva, Israel; Pharmacist (B. Pharm.); M.Sc.Pharm, and Ph.D. from the Faculty of Medicine, The Hebrew University, Jerusalem, Israel.

Dr. Motti Lifshitz, Director

Dr. Moti Lifshitz joined LifeWave - Board of Directors (as an External Director) in May 2007. During his career Dr. Lifshitz has served as the Medical Director of the southern region of Clalit Health Services, CEO of Ha'Emek Hospital, Head of the Medical-Hospital Division at Clalit Headquarters and, over the last 3 years, as Associate Director of the Rabin Medical Center. Dr. Lifshitz is a graduate of The Hebrew University-Hadassah Medical School (MD) and UCLA (Master in Public Health).

Mr. Zvi Nachum, Director

Mr. Zvi Nachum joined LifeWave - Board of Directors in October 2006. Mr. Nachum is an expert in Electronics Engineering with in depth experience and extensive understanding of electronic devices and system development. He has had over 20 years of management and product research & development experience in the electronics industry and has worked with many leading companies in the Israeli market. He is the Founder and CEO of LifeCare Ltd., a consulting, development and manufacturing business and inventor of the LifeWave - BST prototype.

Mrs. Efrat Zilberman, Director

Mrs. Efrat Zilberman joined LifeWave - Board of Directors (as an External Director) in May 2007. Mrs. Zilberman is a Certified CPA, with accounting and financial expertise. Her resume includes employment at the Dalia Klaiman Accounting Firm and, since 2005, she has had her own accounting firm. She has also served as a Director at The Company for the Reconstruction & Development of the Jewish Quarter in the Old City of Jerusalem.

Mr.Yitzhak Kaufman

Mr. Yitzhak Kaufman joined LifeWave - Board of Directors in 2007 and is one of its main shareholders. Prior to joining LifeWave, he served as General Manager of Netivim 2000 Jerusalem Ltd. And Chairman of the Board of T.G.R. Afikim and R.L.B. Investments Ltd.
